    Open training sessions allow dog-human teams to focus on specific areas THEY need, unlike structured classes with set curriculum. This individualized attention helps address specific behavior issues or refine certain skills. All skill levels are welcome. Dogs will be exposed to different environments, people, and of course dogs lending to socialization benefits like building a neutral/ calm dog when in public and group settings.

    The goal of Open Training is to help you build confidence and gain skill mastery in you and your dog while being in a supportive, hands-on environment with like minded dog-people.

    A series of lessons taught in a group setting to allow socialization opportunities for both you and your dog. A Cost-Effective training option when compared to other programs. Group classes can help you stay accountable and motivated by being a part of a group of like minded dog owners who you see & check in with weekly.

    There is NO CIRRICULUM and NO CHARGE FOR a pack walk. Pack walks are beneficial because they provide socialization opportunities for both human and canine. Pack walks can help dogs release energy, reduce anxiety, and learn proper leash manners in a public space, contributing to their overall mental and physical well-being.

    The American Kennel Club’s (AKC) Canine Good Citizen test (CGC) is a certification program that evaluates dogs in simulated everyday situations in a noncompetitive atmosphere. Dogs that pass the CGC test are considered reliable family and community members and will receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club and ribbon from By The Dog LLC.
